Science Communication and Education

Daisy has 6 years of science outreach and education experience. Here is collection of activities and projects I have developed and collaborated with other scientists and museum educators.

Museum of the Earth, Special Insect Exhibit

I created several scavenger hunts for young museum visitors. The scavanger hunts  allow visitors to use their sense of sight, learn about the homes of 'bee'utiful insects 

Girls in Engineering, Math, and Science 2019

We explored the chemistry of cosmetics through acids and bases. The girls used cabbage juice pH indicator to determine the pH of various lip balms and made their own organic lip balm.
