Museum Scavender Hunts

These are the scavenger hunts created by Daisy Rosas Vargas for the Museum of the Earth in Trumansburg, NY.

Insects come in different shapes and sizes. They truly are the color of the rainbow! This scavenger hunt allows visitors take a closer at some insect specimens, equipment used to study insects, and insect fossils.

Insects, ancient and new, lived in homes just like people do. They used different materials to make them big and small. This scavenger hunt allows visitors take a closer at some of the creative homes built by the insects.

Insects, ancient and new, had to eat. They had different methods of getting food, like a long proboscis or sharp mandibles   scavenger hunt allows visitors take a closer look at the mouths for clues.
